This week is Affordable Housing Week in King County!
Affordable Housing Week 2016 is a new annual tradition that the Housing Development Consortium is kicking off for affordable housing in cities throughout King County. You can bring attention to the need for affordable housing in our community throughout the week by attending City or County Council meetings, contacting your elected officials, spreading the word on social media, and in many other ways.
Together, we will show why affordable housing is so important in all of our communities, and we will demonstrate the support for our movement to ensure that all people have the chance to live in safe, healthy, affordable homes within communities of opportunity.
We hope you'll join us for our Elected Official Reception as part of HDC's Affordable Housing Week 2016! This event is open to HDC members, housing advocates, supporters, elected officials, community members and friends, and will be a great opportunity to show elected officials our strength in number and passion for safe, equitable, and affordable homes.
