Time Off is Good for Your Brain

According to Inc magazine, if you find yourself trying to crank out those last few emails or finishing up a project on your day off, you might want to reconsider. 

Research shows you'll do better work if you take more down time. Here are a few ways to improve your productivity. Take short play breaks; switching our attention to a simple task like a game gives a different part of our brain the opportunity to step in and problem solve. 

Take more frequent vacations; vacations have solid brain benefits and should be replenished often. 

Consider a mid-day nap; people who take naps are more alert, productive, and less prone to mistakes.
