Moving to Seattle

Seattle has made many Top Ten lists for its high quality of life, jobs, employment record, and economic growth.

Moving.com did not list Seattle in its Top Ten Cities in Which to Live, but did qualify its status for Honorable Mention thus:

Seattle, Washington: A perennial favorite with top ten listers everywhere. Affordable housing is becoming an issue in Seattle but the views are scenic, the arts are abundant and, of course, there’s always Starbucks.

Redfin reports that the number of Bay area residents searching for homes in Seattle quadrupled over the past four years.While an expensive housing market, Seattle is not as pricey as the Bay area, which makes it attractive both to California residents and to foreign investors.
