Thinking about selling?
The Sunday Seattle Times reported that the median price of single family homes sold in Seattle rose in July to $543,000, the first time it has surpassed the last peak of $501,000 set in August 2007.
The median price of single family homes sold in July on the Eastside was $624,900, just 2.6% shy of its $640,975 peak in 2007.
The metro Seattle housing market is recovering more quickly than the national market, where housing in the top 20 markets are still 18% shy of their peak prices.
