Lake Sammamish is home to some of the area’s most talented water skiers, wakeboarders, and hydrofoilers in the Pacific Northwest. For those who can afford it, numerous waterfront residences command stunning lake and mountain views, all within easy driving distance of Seattle and employment centers such as the original Microsoft campus.
There have been ten waterfront sales over $1million on the southern and western shores of Lake Sammamish over the past year. Two of these were in the 98027 zip code at the southern end of the lake, and the rest were in the 98008 zip code, on the western side of the lake.
Of these sales, the median house had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 3865sf and sold in 30 days for $1,725,000. Four of the ten buyers paid all cash for their purchase.
There are currently four actively-listed houses for sale over $1million on Lake Sammamish today, with another pending a short sale, and three more that are pending sales. All of these are in the 98008 zip code.
Five listings over one million dollars sold in the desirable 98075 zip code on the eastern shores of Lake Sammamish. The median home sale here was for a house with 4 bedrooms, 2.75 bathrooms and 3330sf, with sold in 22 days for $1,695,000. Two of these buyers paid all cash for their purchase.
There are currently three active listings over one-million-dollars in the 98075 zip code that range in price from $1,350,000 to $3,380,000.
Only one Lake Sammamish waterfront home sold in the last year in the 98074 zip code, on the northwest side of the lake, for $1,150,000. Two sold in the 98052 zip code on the northeast side of the lake for around the same price range (although each took about 135 days to sell).
