About the neighborhood:
Neighborhood is close to Capitol Hill, Central District and the Madrona restaurants area. It is walking distance to wooded trails to Lake Washington. Douglass Truth Library, Leschi Mart, BluWater Bistro, Red Apple grocery store, several coffee shops,, Lowe's and Walgreen's.

Even with its laid-back, suburban vibe, Leschi is just a 10-minute drive from the bustling activity of downtown Seattle, and its proximity to the Interstate-90 floating bridge allows for easy access to the Eastside. Leschi's architectural medley and diversity of residents make this waterfront enclave perfect for urban-minded neighborhood living.

Easy access to I-90, highways, and bus lines. Several bus routes nearby go to various areas including Capitol Hill, downtown, Queen Anne, south Seattle, University District, etc. (#2, 3, 4, 8, 14, 27 and 48).

Shared house living: Typically, our short-term rentals approach to housing attracts people in transitional times of life, and new arrivals, including many contract workers or international visitors--really anyone who wants a convenient, hassle-free lifestyle, without having to commit to a long-term lease. All tenants must submit an application, with screening on background, credit, income and rental history. I am a professional property manager, and it is my job to see to it that there is a good mix of tenants--I live here too!
First months rent plus security deposit. No last month rent if income qualified. $35.00 per person tenant screening fee. No pets, no smoking, no illegal drugs. Month to month lease. Must have satisfactory 2-year rental history with references, at least 3X the monthly rent in gross monthly income, a 2-year employment history within your industry, and although we review criminal records on a case-by-case basis, we are less likely to approve anyone with violent or property convictions.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, please send an email to or come to the Open House this Saturday evening at 5p, 216 31st Avenue in Seattle, between Cherry and Yesler.
